Obtain a HSLIB account, at the Health Sciences Library's Computer Lab
Click "Start" >> "Control Panel"

Double-Click on “Network and Internet”.

Double-click on "Network and Sharing Center".

Under the Tasks list (left column), click "Manage Wireless Networks".

In the Manage Wireless Networks window, click "Add".

Click "Manually create a network profile".

Enter the following information:
Network Name: hscnet
Security Type: No authentication (Open)
[ x ] Start this connection automatically
[ x ] Connect even if the network is not broadcasting

Click "Next".
Now Click "Close"

**Reboot Machine**
Once you’ve rebooted the machine make sure that you are on the “hscnet” wireless network by rolling your mouse over the wireless icon in the bottom right of the system tray.

Once connected to "hscnet", open Internet Explorer

Enter your information as follows…
Username: hslib\firstname.lastname
Password: (enter your library password)

Hit “Continue”
If you entered all the information correctly, you should see this window pop up…

You can minimize the window and you should now be able to surf the internet.
That’s it… your done!
